Blue Mountain Children's Home is just that - A Home. It was founded in 1965 by the late Rev. J. L. Pipkin, former pastor of the Blue Mountain Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Since that time there have been several administrators, several house parents, and over 200 children, but one thing remains the same; "This is a home where children are loved", Bro. Pipkin once said, "It's not an orphan's home and it's not an institution. It is a home with a home atmosphere. That's what we've always tried to make it."
