Children Give Back - March 2008

To be able to give back is a most precious gift. Our children are visiting the local nursing home twice a month, and loveing every minute of it! They have the opportunity to reach out to the residents. They read to them, talk with them and comb their hair. Most of all, they hear the words, "Thank You" and "I Love You."

This Christmas, the children carried gifts to each of the elderly residents. Words cannot express the joy each child felt as their friends opened their special gifts. An expression of love and appreciation was felt by each child for time spent with the elderly through the year. Our children are most appreciative. They can't wait until its's time once again to visit thier nursing home family.
